Conditions of participation and data protection

Legal information about the competition „Lego forklift truck“

Introduction and subject of these conditions
The SIEVERS-GROUP is conducting a competition at the partner event „Directions EMEA“ from Nov. 4 – Nov. 6, 2025 in Poznan (Poland). The participants of the competition and the organiser, SIEVERS-SNC Computer & Software GmbH & Co. KG, Hans-Wunderlich-Strasse 8, 49078 Osnabrück („SIEVERS-GROUP“), agree on the following terms and conditions. By participating in the competition, the participant accepts these terms and conditions.
Winning, entitlement to win, notification of the winner and shipment
At the end of the competition, the participant who has played the computer game Navi Sokoban in the shortest time with the fewest moves wins. The winner will receive a Lego forklift truck worth €28.28 gross.
In the event of a win, the participant will be informed of this on site during the event on the last day at 2:00 p.m..

If the winner has already left the event at the time of the draw, the claim to the prize will no longer apply. A forfeited prize or a prize that has not been collected will not be awarded again. However, the SIEVERS-GROUP reserves the right to redraw the prize among the remaining participants who were not included in the first determination of the winner. The re-awarding of the prize will take place in accordance with these conditions of participation.

It is not possible to pay out the prize in cash or to transfer it to another person. The prize will be handed over to the winner during the event.
Rules for participating in the competition
The competition begins on Nov. 4, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. Central European Time (Berlin) and ends on Nov. 6, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. Central European Time (Berlin). Start means that from this point in time onwards the participation actions according to this clause can be carried out. End means that no more registrations under https://www.sievers-group.com/competition-directions-2025/ will be considered from this point onwards.

Participation in the competition takes place when participants play the game Navi Sokoban at the SIEVERS GROUP booth S52 and enter their contact details there as players. The fastest player with the fewest moves to the finish line wins at the end of the competition period.

Participation in the competition itself is free of charge, except for any costs incurred by the participant as a result of taking part in the event.

Every person from a minimum age of 18 years is eligible to participate. Employees of the SIEVERS-GROUP are excluded from participating in this competition.

SIEVERS-GROUP reserves the right to exclude participants from the competition at any time and without prior notice if they use measures to increase their chances of winning, manipulate the competition or otherwise violate these conditions of participation. In the event of exclusion, the prize may also be subsequently withdrawn and reclaimed.
Exclusion of warranty
SIEVERS-GROUP points out that the availability and function of the promotion cannot be guaranteed. The promotion may be terminated or removed in particular due to external circumstances and constraints without giving rise to any claims of the participants against SIEVERS-GROUP. External circumstances and constraints may include legal changes or measures of third parties which are not within the sphere of influence of the SIEVERS-GROUP.
Limitations of liability
The following exclusions and limitations of liability shall apply to the liability of the SIEVERS-GROUP for damages, irrespective of the other legal requirements for claims: The SIEVERS-GROUP is liable without limitation as far as the cause of damage is based on intent or gross negligence. Furthermore, the SIEVERS-GROUP is liable for the slightly negligent breach of essential obligations, the breach of which endangers the achievement of the purpose of the contract, or for the breach of obligations, the fulfilment of which enable the proper implementation of the competition in the first place and on the compliance with which the contractual partners regularly rely. In this case, however, the SIEVERS-GROUP shall only be liable for the foreseeable, contract-typical damage. The SIEVERS-GROUP is not liable for the slightly negligent breach of obligations other than those mentioned in the preceding sentences.

The above limitations of liability shall not apply in the case of injury to life, body and health, for a defect after the assumption of guarantees for the quality of a product and in the case of fraudulently concealed defects. Liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected. Insofar as the liability of the SIEVERS-GROUP is excluded or limited, this shall also apply to the personal liability of its employees, representatives and vicarious agents.
Data protection information
The following data protection information informs the participants of the competition about the use of personal data by the SIEVERS-GROUP within the promotion.

For the participation in the competition, the SIEVERS-GROUP collects, processes and uses the following data of the participants exclusively for the handling of the competition:

– First and last name
– E-Mail address
– Highscore in the game Navi Sokoban

This data is used for the execution of the competition, i.e. to enable participation, to check the eligibility, to identify the winner and to hand over the prize (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit b of the German Data Protection Regulation (DS-GVO)). The data will also be stored for the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations to provide proof (e.g. vis-à-vis tax authorities) in compliance with the applicable deadlines.

If the participants are not prepared to provide the above data to the SIEVERS-GROUP, participation in the competition is excluded. The provision is necessary to achieve the purpose of the contract.

RIGHTS TO INFORMATION, BLOCKING, DELETION, TRANSFERABILITY, OBJECTION, RIGHT OF COMPLAINT

Participants have the right to receive information about their data stored by the SIEVERS-GROUP and the relevant processing, the right to correct their data, the right to delete their data after the purpose of processing has ceased to exist, provided that this does not conflict with any retention obligations, the right to restrict processing, the right to object and the right to data transferability. In addition, participants have the right to complain to a competent data protection supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 DS-GVO if they believe that their data is being processed unlawfully. For questions and information on the protection of their personal data and to assert the above rights, every participant can contact our data protection officer at any time using the contact details given above or by e-mail: hallo@sievers-group.com.

The request for deletion or blocking of personal data before the end of the competition and the draw will result in the loss of participation or the forfeiture of the prize.
Place of jurisdiction, applicable law
Deviating terms and conditions of the participants shall not be recognised unless the SIEVERS-GROUP expressly agrees to their validity in writing.

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.

Legal recourse is excluded.
